Can I pay my real property taxes via internet or phone?

Yes, the Fairbanks North Star Borough offers electronic payment via credit card and e-check. The Borough offers these forms of electronic payment options to provide additional choice and convenience to customers making payment on real property taxes. If using either one of these methods be sure you have your parcel account number(s) (PAN) and the amount you are paying available to complete the transaction.

Credit Card Payments

The credit card payment option will charge the taxpayer a third party convenience fee of approximately 3.45% of the amount paid and will be available through the internet or by phone. If you wish to pay by credit card by phone, you will need to call 800-272-9829 and enter Jurisdiction Code 1206 when prompted.

E-Check Payments

E-check is also available through a third party and subject to a $1.85 convenience fee.

For payments over $10,000.00, the convenience fee is $15.00.

Please note that e-checks are not an acceptable form of "guaranteed funds" for tax foreclosure properties.
